The Songs
All of my songs come from essentially the same place - the desire to tell a story. I am not a disciplined writer who writes everyday - I found that to be a futile process for me, personally. I am a "sit and wait" kind of writer. If I am open, the muse will come; and when it does, it is usually bringing the right song at the right time.

My first release in February of 2019 was an EP of stripped down acoustic story-songs, titled "Just a Few Songs..." Here you will find "Phoenix" and "Bourbon Soaked Shirt" from that release. Two very different songs, telling two very different stories.
The track "9,000 Stars" is from 2020 album, "Wait for the Sun". It is the closing track of this project, which is also a stripped-down collection of songs with vocal, guitar, piano and a few lush background vocals tossed in. I am incredibly proud of the new music and hope you enjoy this little taste.
